Timber Gates Project



Scribing the weather cap. We are scribing the weather cap to the arch top rail.
Spindle moulding the v grooved tongue and grooved panel. Terry spindle moulding the v groovd tongue & Groove panel boards from 125mm x 25mm redwood. In the background we can see one of the arch top frames ready for the panel infill.
Finishing contour work. Here we are finishing the contours of the arch top on a bobbin sander.
Clamp detail. As you can see, the clamps are holding the two arch top pieces together and looking along the profile we can check to ensure we end up in this case with a perfectly matched pair.
Crossed left and right members A photo of a crossed left and right showing balance and symetry. This is a result of craftmenship and the production drawings from design support.
